Often other people are waiting to view or borrow them. When you return borrowed resources in a timely fashion, you are practicing good stewardship! Thank you for your cooperation. |
Our Mission
The Resource Centre of the Diocese of Prince Albert, located inside the Diocesan Centre, 1415-4th Ave. W., Prince Albert, is committed to serving the priestly, prophetic and shepherding needs of the faithful within the diocese. More specifically:
- To serve the teaching/learning requirements of all programs within the Catholic Centre.
- To serve the self-improvement/betterment needs of the faithful within the diocese.
- To serve the resource needs for various Catholic groups and organizations within the diocese.
- To provide inspirational and motivational materials for the faithful within the diocese.
- To serve as an alternative Resource Centre for the religious education programs operating within the diocese.
- To provide information on programs and resources available within the Resource Centre.
- To fulfill the needs demonstrated by the Mission Statement, materials will be provided in both print (books, magazines, etc) and non-print (videos, music recording, computer programs, etc) formats.

Resource Centre Up-date : In order to better use and share our resource material, the following regulations will be in effect as of September 2009:
- a four-week limit on borrowing, then a notice will be sent out
- items may be renewed for another two weeks only if no one has asked for them
- no more than 15 items can be signed out at any one time
- a limit of two items from the same category of items taken out
- the person checking out an item is responsible for that resource
- that person will be required to pay for lost or damaged items
- parishes may make special arrangements for long-term use of lengthy study programs or those that are more expensive
- parishes would be encouraged to buy materials for long-term use after previewing the copy from the Resource Centre
Nouvelles du Centre de Ressources : Afin de vous servir et de partager plus efficacement le matériel au Centre, les règlements suivants entreront en vigueur à partir de septembre 2009 :
- une limite de quatre semaines pour l’emprunt de matériel, puis on enverra un avis
- les documents ou objets peuvent être renouvelés seulement pour deux autres semaines, si personne ne les a demandés
- pas plus de 15 documents ou objets ne peuvent être pris à la fois
- une limite de 2 objets de la même catégorie d’objets empruntés à la fois
- la personne qui emprunte un document ou un objet en est responsable
- cette personne sera obligée de payer pour remplacer les objets/documents perdus ou endommagés
- les paroisses peuvent s’accorder de manière spéciale avec le Centre pour emprunter à long terme, des programmes d’étude ou des choses plus dispendieuses
- les paroisses sont invitées à acheter elles-mêmes les matériaux d’usage à long terme, après avoir visionné la copie du Centre
