Diocesan Pastoral Council
(D.P.C.)

**DPC Registration forms, Minutes, Agendas and Evaluations will all be posted at the bottom of this page shortly before and after each meeting.**

The Diocesan Pastoral Council's Mission statement sums up its mandate this way: "The DPC is a forum of Christ's faithful in the diocese which, with the bishop, attempts to study, reflect and realize, the concrete exemplification of the church and the fulfillment of its mission."

Under the authority of the bishop, the members of the DPC try to discern and implement practical solutions to meet the pastoral needs of the diocese. In a sense the DPC is like a parish council; with the difference that it embraces the whole diocese. Twice a year that council has a meeting with all its members and looks at the broad direction in which the diocese is going. For practical reasons there is an executive. That is made up of the president, who is always the bishop, the chair, and vice-chair - both elected positions. The secretary is also a chairperson from one of the commissions.

The following is a list of DPC documents. Each is in .pdf form, you will need Adobe Reader which you may download for free here:
